GIF of the Week - Canada

I'm leaving for a week long vacation with my parents on Saturday. Our original plan was to go to Newport, RI for a couple of days and then Prince Edward Island for a few days because I am obsessed with Anne of Green Gables.

(ahhh Gilbert. *swoon*)

Unfortunately upon further research, the Avonlea Village doesn't open until late June. So we rerouted that half of our trip to Maine. (What up LOBSTAAAAHHHH.) Hopefully I'll make it to Canada one day... though perhaps not in the winter.

It's Gonna Be May

(This never gets old.) Seriously. Where has the time gone? This year is almost HALF OVER. What the heck?

Birthdays!!

My mother and I are exactly 26 years and 14 minutes apart. Having a kid on your birthday kinda runs in our family. (I have 2 cousins who had their first child on their birthday too!) My mom is the best. For the first 16 years of my life I know my mom's birthday got overlooked as she was making me cakes and planning my birthday parties (which were totally awesome btw.)

So I just wanted to let my mom know how much I love and appreciate her and that I couldn't share my birthday with anybody more important!

Also I think we both agreed that we can start lying about our age now. So happy 40th birthday Mom!!
